About FACTS
We are a growing student organization at UT Southwestern Medical School affiliated with the national FACTS organization. Our goal is to educate our fellow medical students and
the general public about these Fertility Awareness Based Methods as
tools to improve women's health. FABMs can be used for a multitude of purposes, and we feel that it is a woman's right to learn what is happening with her body, and the physician's right to offer this information to their patients. To learn more about the usefulness of FABMs, go to the Health Education page.
We have multiple committees, each working through different means to achieve our ultimate goal: to educate women, couples, and students about FABMs, and make FABMs a more common option for gynecologic patients.
